    This Organic Wheat variety is a long stem variety that is different from modern shorter stem varieties and thus closer to Ancient Grain varieties than modern wheat.

    This Organic Wheat Grain/Kernels/Berries is of ligher color than the conventional Red Hard Winter Wheat variety.

    Our Yellow Maize Meal is truly Wholegrain in that it still contains the Maize Germ (which contains protein, enzymes, vitamins, minerals and plant oil) as well as the Fiber with both almost always removed in commercial maize meal production.

    Due to the higher fiber content and consistency, this Maize Meal is intended for use as porridge. It is quite filling and has a very nice texture when cooked.
